Dance Class and Freeform Dance Party

From playfulness to sensuality to grief to rage--Groundswell is a dance container that invites you to show up and express yourself exactly as you are. The night starts with an opening circle, demo of consent, and brief meditation. The arc starts and ends slow and grounded and swells in energy throughout. This session is facilitated by JP Frank (they/them) with rotating DJs.

La Colombiana : A World Afrobeats dance class. Explore movement from a species mythology rather than as a human activity. We will delve into sensing what quality of movement emerges when we dance from the pelvis… like Elvis.
